He is one of the most skilled and respected guitar instructors in the city. Leif is a professional guitarist with a degree in music and years of experience teaching guitar students of all levels. Above all, he’s a patient, supportive teacher who genuinely enjoys helping every student grow.

We host several studio performance opportunities throughout the year. We also have strong connections with local churches and music venues where students can gain real-world performance experience.

Leif Nelson, our guitar teacher, also serves as the music director at Church 7:24, which generously provides space for our lessons. You and your child are always welcome in our studio. There’s plenty of free parking at the church, and if you’re bringing your child for a lesson, you’re welcome to relax, use the Wi-Fi, or sit in and observe. We teach students of all ages—children, teens, and adults—and are happy to work with all levels of musicians.

Our studio is fully equipped with a sound system, amps, and all the gear needed to create an inspiring environment for a private music lesson. We’ve also designed the space to be comfortable for parents who are waiting. So, if your child is taking a lesson, feel free to relax and use the complimentary Wi-Fi.

Leif has been teaching private guitar lessons to children since 2019. If your child is able to sit through a 30-minute lesson and follow instructions, we’d be happy to work with them!

Is your middle or high schooler interested in playing guitar? We’d love to work with them! Whether they’re just beginning their musical journey or aiming to take it to the next level. We can also help them prepare for college auditions, school competitions, and scholarship opportunities. We’re also happy to support their involvement in other musical activities—like jazz band or any other musical pursuit they’re passionate about.
